Dimostrazione ishizuki e boschetto – Nicola Crivelli

Dopo la lezione teorica al mattino, ho assistito Nicola alla parte pratica nel pomeriggio. In quest’ultimo anno ho lavorato molto con il maestro, ma sempre nel suo laboratorio e sempre in formato casual con pause, chiacchierate e tante risate. Assistere il maestro ad una demo è un po’ diverso, non tanto per il pubblico, che tra l’altro è stato molto attivo con domande di ogni tipo e suggerimenti sulla composizione, ma più per paura d‘ostacolare la buona riuscita della composizione come pure di essere troppo lenta. Fare bonsai richiede pazienza per contemplare l’opera nel corso della realizzazione, per discutere e considerare altre opzioni, in breve ci vuole tempo. In una demo, interessante è spettacolare che sia, si è sempre sotto pressione, nel tempo che si ha a disposizione bisogna che la composizione sia finita, senza se e senza ma. Cosa che mi ha innervosito un po‘ ma visto che Nicola ha già fatto mille dimostrazioni abbiamo finito in tempo con un risultato eccelso.

Per essere la prima volta da assistente è stata un’esperienza speciale. Certo che impastare la keto è un po come giocare con il fango ma molto più divertente e poi s’impara sempre cosi tanto i queste dimostrazione se si può metter mano.

Grazie Nicola Crivelli per questa lezione, molto appezzata dal pubblico, molto ammirata dai membri esperti e una grande esperienza personale.

After the theory lesson in the morning, I assist Nicola during the practical part in the afternoon. This last year I worked a lot with the master, but always in his laboratory and always on a casual feeling with breaks, chats and many laughs. To assist the master in a demonstration is a `bit different, not because of the audience, which by the way was very active with questions and suggestion of all kind, but also because of the fear of hinder the success of the composition as well of being to slow. Doing bonsai requires patience in order to look at the composition during the realization, to discuss and consider other options, short it takes time.
In a demonstration, no matter how spectacular this can be, you only have an amount of time in order to finish, without the ifs and buts. Thing that made me nervous but knowing that Nicola has already done thousands of demonstration we finished in time with a beautiful result.

As this was the first time to work as assistant, it was form me a very special experience. Sure was fan to play and knead the keto, is just as fun as playing with mud but more enjoyable and you learn even more if you can work on the composition.

Thank you Nicola Crivelli for this lesson, really appreciate from the audience, admired from the Full Members and a great personal experience.

Lezione di Boschetto e Ishizuki – con Nicola Crivelli

Per la Scuola d’arte bonsai da cui Nicola proviene, gli stili boschetto e su roccia, in giapponese yoseue e ishizuki, vengono definiti bonsai creativo perché posso essere esposti in brevi tempri e molto studiati dalla scuola. Ma anche se sono creativi non vuol dire che tutto puo andare in un boschetto o su una roccia, ci sono delle regole da seguire e degli approcci da sapere. Nicola Crivelli a presentato molto dettagliatamente i due stile, spiegando anche alcuni errori che altri fanno e consigli sulla coltivazione.

Sembra che mi ripeto, ma è proprio questo che rende il formato “Campus” cosi speciale, un maestro esperto con anni d’esperienza che condivide con i membri il suo sapere. Ho già accennato che il fine settimana di Campus è gratuito per tutti i membri della NBSKE?
Per chi non lo sapesse, iscriversi non costa niente, solo un email ed il proprio nome, e con soli 35 € all’anno si diventa già membri.

At the Scuola d’arte bonsai, which Nicola is coming from, the forest style aswell as the on rock style are classed as creative bonsai because it takes only a couple of years to be ready for exibistion and are very studied by the school. This does not mean that on this two style everything is allowed, there are rules to follow and approch to know. Nicola gived us a dettailed leasson on this two style, explaing the most comon mistake people make and giving advice on the care to give.

It seems I am repeating myself, but is exactly this kind of lesson that makes the “Campus” format so special, expert masters with years of experience shares his knowledge to the members. Did I mentioned that the Campus week-end was  free for all NBSKE members?
For those who do not know, to become a member is easy: you only have to give your name and email and with 35 € per year you are in it!
